Introduction

The Vertiv Geist Switched Unit Level Monitored Rack PDU VP7G9000 is a 32A, 230V, 0U vertical rack power distribution unit (rPDU) with 24 Combination C13/C19 outlets, and a 1P+N+E plug providing 7.3kW in power capacity. This Switched PDU allows you to turn off receptacles to avoid overloads and power cycle equipment remotely to reboot unresponsive critical IT equipment. It also has residual current metering (RCM-B that monitors insulation level within the IT rack and alerts users of fault conditions requiring immediate action to prevent potential life-threatening injuries, or a complete system shutdown. The rPDU also has a hot-swappable Interchangeable Monitoring Device (IMD) that displays current on the local LED display. The IMD includes ports for serial communication, environmental monitoring, and dual ethernet port. Simplify management of multiple PDUs with fault-tolerant daisy chaining or IP aggregation capabilities. This CE marked PDU meets an important requirement for data centers and each unit undergoes individual testing for functionality to help ensure your network is powered by a reliable rPDU.
